As part of the daily management of onsite operations of a project the superintendent shall:

• Supervise quality control
  
• Coordinate field activities
  
• Purchase and maintain equipment and tools
  
• Verify that all materials are installed in the proper sequence
  
• Ensure all materials are placed within specified tolerances
  
• Physically check grade lines and levels, prior to the placement of materials
  
• Schedule all testing activities
  
• Maintain field report of each material and/or system that requires testing
  
• Maintain daily time sheet
  
• Ensure that the Metro Pace safety program is practiced by all
  
• Conduct weekly jobsite safety meetings
  
• Maintain daily construction report indicating:
  

• Job name and location
  
• Weather
  
• Metro Pace staff and activities performed
  
• Visitor log
  
• Subcontractor log   (company, individual names and description of work performed)
  
• Materials received and notes of miscellaneous information
